In the heart of the Moscato Hills of Piedmont, the Regional Wine Centre of Mango stands as a symbol of the winemaking excellence of the Langhe and Monferrato.
Founded in 1985, it will celebrate its 40th anniversary in 2025, continuing its mission to promote the region’s typical wines and preserve the local wine culture.
Located in the picturesque village of Mango, the Enoteca has always aimed to highlight Moscato d’Asti and other prestigious local wines such as Barbaresco, Barolo, and Barbera.
In the 1980s and 1990s — a period of great energy and change for the Piedmontese wine world — the Enoteca became a key reference point for local producers, consumers, and tourists alike. It offered a showcase of quality that told the story of a region gaining worldwide recognition.
Over the years, the Enoteca has played a vital role in strengthening the winemaking identity of these unique landscapes — which in 2014 were recognised as a UNESCO World Heritage Site — by working with institutions and professionals to organise events, tastings, and celebrations dedicated to the world of wine.
One of the key figures in its development has been Raoul Molinari, whose commitment has contributed to both the promotion and protection of local winemaking traditions.
Thanks to his deep knowledge of the wine world and his passion for the region, he guided the Enoteca’s activities with vision, enhancing the full potential of the area and its producers. His dedication helped preserve not only the wines but also the heritage of the land, building a bridge between past and future generations.
Today, the Regional Wine Centre of the Moscato Hills in Mango has a fully renewed management team and is a dynamic, forward-looking organisation. It remains a beacon for wine culture in the Langhe, honouring tradition while creating opportunities for connection and learning for wine lovers of all kinds.
In 2025, the Enoteca’s 40th anniversary will not only celebrate its past — but also look to the future, with a renewed commitment to telling the story of a unique territory through every bottle of wine.
